I've found a font that will work great with the ribbon logo I tried earlier. I feel the bold and strong presence of this typeface will work well on the free flowing look of the ribbon - So I re-drew the ribbon to ensure it looked clean and simple and then continued to develop the idea
I also tried the ribbon in a watercolour texture. I had tried some watercolours in previous logos that never really worked out, but I feel if i do it right the watercolour texture will work well in implying retro and nostalgia.
